چکیده
In this paper, we introduce the notions of ordered F -(F, h)-contraction and subcontraction in the setting of partial metric spaces. Some fixed point theorems for ordered F -(F, h)-contraction and subcontraction in 0-f -orbitally complete partial metric spaces are proved. Our results generalize some recent results of metric and partial metric spaces into the 0-f -orbitally complete partial metric spaces. Some examples are presented which illustrate the results proved herein.

Graphs with Forbidden Subgraphs
Many graphs which are encountered in the study of graph theory are characterized by a type of configuration or subgraph they possess. However, there are occasions when such graphs are more easily defined or described by the kind of subgraphs they are not permitted to contain. For example, a tree can be defined as a connected graph which contains no cycles, and Kuratowski [22] characterized plan...
متن کاملThe Extremal Function for Complete Minors
Let G and H be graphs. As usual, we say that H is a minor or subcontraction of G if V(G) contains disjoint subsets Wu , u # V(H), such that G[Wu] is connected for each u # V(H) and there is an edge in G between Wu and Wv whenever uv # E(H). (Here, G[Wu] stands for the subgraph of G induced by Wu ; our notation is standard and follows that of Bolloba s [2].) We write GoH if H is a minor of G, an...
متن کاملThe Extremal Function For Noncomplete Minors
We investigate the maximum number of edges that a graph G can have if it does not contain a given graph H as a minor (subcontraction). Let c(H) = inf { c : e(G) ≥ c|G| implies G ≻ H } . We define a parameter γ(H) of the graph H and show that, if H has t vertices, then c(H) = (αγ(H) + o(1)) t √ log t where α = 0.319 . . . is an explicit constant and o(1) denotes a term tending to zero as t → ∞. ...
متن کاملHormone-sensitive lipase activity and triacylglycerol hydrolysis are decreased in rat soleus muscle by cyclopiazonic acid.
Cyclopiazonic acid (CPA) is a sarcoplasmic reticulum Ca2+-ATPase inhibitor that increases intracellular calcium. The role of CPA in regulating the oxidation and esterification of palmitate, the hydrolysis of intramuscular lipids, and the activation of hormone-sensitive lipase (HSL) was examined in isolated rat soleus muscles at rest. CPA (40 micro M) was added to the incubation medium to levels...
متن کاملRegulation of myofibrillar accumulation in chick muscle cultures: evidence for the involvement of calcium and lysosomes in non-uniform turnover of contractile proteins
The effect of calcium on myofibrillar turnover in primary chick leg skeletal muscle cultures was examined. Addition of the calcium ionophore A23187 at subcontraction threshold levels (0.38 microM) increased significantly rates of efflux of preloaded 45Ca+2 but had no effect on total protein accumulation. However, A23187 as well as ionomycin caused decreased accumulation of the myofibrillar prot...
